Rockingham Wild Encounters & Penguin Island is now closed for the winter offseason as of 8th June 2010. The Dolphin Watch Eco Adventures & Penguin Island Tours will resume from 15th September 2010 Our Dolphin Watch & Penguin Island package options are perfect for wildlife lovers of all ages and there are three exciting options to choose from:
DOLPHIN WATCH (Half Day Option) Join us aboard a 2 hour eco adventure to meet Rockingham's famous wild dolphins and explore the ruggedly spectacular beauty of the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park. With over 20 years of experience, friendship and trust built up with the local dolphins, we are able to offer visitors a unique insight into the daily lives of these fascinating creatures. You may see mothers nursing new born calves, find out how they use stingrays to catch their dinner or watch the boys showing off for the ladies. Our highly trained interpretive guides love what they do! They'll make your experience fun, enjoyable, entertaining & informative!
DOLPHINS & PENGUINS TOUR (Flexible) Perfect for backpackers or travellers on a budget, this package includes:
* 2 hour Dolphin Watch through the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park
* Free time on Penguin Island to sunbathe, swim, snorkel, surf, fish or just enjoy the spectacular bays and beaches
* Penguin feeding at the Discovery Centre
* Unlimited return ferry transfers to Penguin Island. Its only a 5 minute ride so if you dont want to bring your lunch, go to Pengos Cafe for fish and chips or one of their tasty burgers!
DOLPHIN, PENGUIN AND SEA LION TOUR (Full Day Option) See all the wildlife in 1 day & explore beautiful Penguin Island! Your package includes:
* 2 hour Dolphin Watch Tour
* Return ferry transfers to Penguin Island (a short 5 minute ferry ride)
